Reseting a Quest?

Unfortunately will doing the beggars quest i accepted to kill them(didn't kill any), then went on to talking to 3 of them and the quest updated with no problem. Then i was told to go talk to certain beggar, and when i got there and talk to him he add nothing to see beside something like"why you want to kill us" so is there a way to reset the quest? i would hate to restart at this point( till GOF show up ). Thanks

AFAIK, you can't drop a quest once you start it. I thought you had to talk to five before you got to talk to the "main" begger.

Perhaps someone else can shed some insight into this.
