For example: So how i can run for my life if i am being chased by natives (human eaters)? Eh? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> If i only can jog? Damnit! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" /> I need a little more SPEEEEED when that happens. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

My suggestion is to make a new running animation when we (hopefully) get the right tools to do it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
Would be nice when (if?) we get the right tools. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
 
Of course you can press "K" (always run)
Then "R" (rapid)

How true - but when testing a program and those bloody bandits show up, it is handy for getting the whatsit out of there!!

Would the enemies be able to run as well? If so, it wouldn't give you any advantage. If they can't, that could give you too much of an advantage. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
 
well, it just makes more sense to run for your life than to jog for it. it's just for the sake of actually making sense. maybe running like this should be timed? like a sudden adrenaline rush to save your sorry hide?
 
For escaping I'm using sidesteps... On my new computer you go faster with sidesteps than by running. (On my old computer sidesteps were taking ages, I couldn't do that.)

The AOP models seems to run faster than the others (thinking of Blaze Devlin...) But the moves are too slow, as if he was floating in the air. Maybe that could be changed.
 
the first is more of a cheat and the second is just a trait of the AOP characters. although i do think there should be a running speed parameter somewhere. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Btw: From computer game named Gothic (1 and 2) theres two/three types of running animation one of them is a REALLY fast running animation it'll show up then when you drink the speed potion and when you run! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> you really run for your life!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/monkeydance.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mi" border="0" alt="monkeydance.gif" />
