Ahoy me hearties!

Ok, I have searched the forums and have not found a topic about this so that must make me a complete idiot. I really can't work out how to sail the bloody ship, fire my cannons or bring up a map. Could someone please help or point me in the right direction?

In first person mode, the default buttons are w, a, d and s. W to raise the sails, A and D to move left and right. S to lower the sails. Space bar will fire the cannons.

I believe the same applies to third person mode as well.

Wait a minute OP. You must have changed your default settings. Firing cannon's came stock on the left mouse button for me. And walking on the deck is done by clicking and holding the right mouse button.

But those ship control buttons you quoted are dead on.

Thats how it came from the original disc anyhow.

Oh, and to view your maps, you need to own the map in the first place, then you use it in your inventory.

The Community created Combined mod simplifies map usage by giving you a map key (M) and a custom GUI for viewing all your maps.
