I was going to do a small review, but seeing as many of you have already done this, I have uploaded a great number of screenshots instead. Some are of the main interface which I believe is a vast improvement to SD & POTC. From the screenshots you can clearly see how more impressive the game looks compared to POTC, although I’m still playing that as well, thanks to the MODS <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

I see many of you are expecting the European version to be available in next two months or so? Going on the general Russian release this does seem pretty doubtful, I know from Russian friends that v1.11 has a multitude of fixes, but is still buggy. A major multi-language patch will be made available on the European release. If I was Akella I would want to maximise my publicity on the back of “Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Man’s Chest”. one question though after you sink a ship there is a quick option button on the top of screen whats that for?

If you mean the F3 command, yes that only appears when it is safe to go back to the map and continue. Sometimes I pray for the F3 to show <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

I have just added another 13 screenshots, these are at the end [before "Time to go home"], you can see the cannon balls fly as well as flames - although I was sunk sortly after these were taken <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Oh I wish..... I did try a LAN first [many computers connected via the same network] but even that had major issues <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />, I have also tried the NET be failed to find any servers. So to answer your question NO for the UK / European, but YES for the Russian....so I'm told!!!

reminds me so much of good ol sea dogs.

Nice to know thou that there are plenty of more ships in AoP.

Because it sucked in PoTC, the lack of ship types, Sea Dogs had like twice as many ships, and variations like Frigate/Heavy frigat, Battleship/Heavy Battleship and so on.
