1. Install "Pirates of the Caribbean" original version without oficial patches
2. Download and extract addon installation file (setup.rar) to the separate folder, place there files data1.slb, data2.slb and data3.slb as well.
3. Start setup_addon.exe
4. Specify the way to the game directory, accept the agreement, than press
"Start Install "
5. 2 - 6 minutes for full unpacking and the new resources installation
6. Start Config.exe, adjust the parameters.
7. To start the new game - double click Engine.exe

make sure you've got all the right procedures (fot instance you need a CLEAN POTC

What exactly is the Sea Legends mod? It sounds interesting, but I don't recall ever hearing about it. Is it the A&M Mod? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
A&M mod addon ALexusB edition is titled "The sea ledgens return"
A&M mod addon Morgan edition is titled "Flibustiers"

yes , it has more than just "new items and ships"
it has like 20 islands , and a dinamic world : you see towns change nations , youcan see them sieged (if you're there on the time of the attack ) . It also alows you to found colonies on your own (with some sort of argitect) further there are also armors that you can wear and 240 other added stuff. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" /> Sorry to bother you chaps again about the A&M mod but what other mods does it work with , at the moment i have clean install POC then installed the A&M mod then the V12 build plus Pietars latest updates .i can see the world map except when i am in first person sail mode and all the islands names seem to come up but not the islands from the original map, <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" /> am i being to ambitious sticking all the other mods on , is it just a stand alone mod .Also its in Russian should i just be patient and wait for the next build pack <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
It doesn't work with my modpack. I suppose you should install it on a clean PotC installation... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

a&m is not a part of the build , it is an independant mod pack wich won't work with the build at all.

if you wanna play it in english , you'll just have to wait till it is translated . stuff from the build (exept for skins I think ) can't be implted in it
 
thanks for the info England , i gave it a go with just the A&M mod anyway to see how i would get on but the dialogue stumped me i wanted to see the other islands reallybut i keep on getting into a sword fight after the pub quiz in the opening scene and i am not well equiped to beat the chap on the boat with one set of dialogue and withthe other i end up on the pirate island with no cash and not a clue what to do so....... i will wait til someone incorperates everything in the next build <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel_pa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ixi" border="0" alt="duel_pa.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
 
don't take pirate as "nation" , you'll be nothing with it . there are 2 ways to get money at the begining :1 do quests (if you have installed the translation , the quests should be explaned in the quest book) and buy a tarane with the earned money 2 steal stuff from peoples houses sell it and buy a tarane (then you can start trading ) Also if you use alt-tab a dictionary should appear (I think)

somwhere in the middle is an attachement
just download it , it will give you all the items and interfaces translated , including the questbook . Unfortualy the dialgos will remain in Russian
