Nice pics but the best one is that bird.
She can climb on top of my flag pole anyday <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Thank you for taking the time to share that with us. Cool pics. And yeah that is a poster, one i would love to get my hands on <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

I agree

Nice photo's the babe, looks like an old girlfriend <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Cheers <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

The poster is lovely. We really got the short end of the stick here in the states with our "limited edition". Too bad. Well, off to ebay.

Nice pirate wench! Arrgh! The LE we got in the states sucked. No `t-shirt`, no poster, and a paper map instead of cloth. We also didn't get Sid to do autographs or cute wenches to look at. Why did Atari choose to screw the hometown fans?

Well, Germany is very serious about it's games. If I remember correctly, they have a HUGE gaming convention each year and give awards out to the best board games. It's pretty big business and the award is highly sought.

That's not to say that we are not serious about them here in the US, but when it comes to board games, what we have in ToysRUs is pretty pathetic compared to the wonderful board games made by the Germans.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but that's my take on it. I still want one of those posters...

If you like the girl, here are some larger pictures of her. And sorry - i don't have her phone number..

<a href="http://www.girafficpark.de/pirates/girl1.jpg" target="_blank">pic 1 (130kb)</a>
<a href="http://www.girafficpark.de/pirates/girl2.jpg" target="_blank">pic 2 (117kb)</a>
<a href="http://www.girafficpark.de/pirates/girl3.jpg" target="_blank">pic 3 (200kb)</a>

And @Cap'n Toast - very cool avatar. Did you just choose it because of your name or do you know this is 'Bernd das Brot' (bernd the bread).
And if i never think of giving away that poster, i'll tell you first <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Hey Kermit - thanks for the additional pictures. She's a saucy one for sure!

I discovered Bernd this past summer on a trip to Europe. I travel to germany fairly often and I even lived there for a few years when I was younger (Heidelberg, Wurzburg, Munchen). I saw Bernd on TV and thought he was funny. Then when I was staying in Bremen, I saw a little Bernd toy that came with some brotchen so of course, I had to buy them... he now sits on my computer. I had the nickname Toast for many years, so it seemed to fit <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Hehe, and let me know about that poster... perhaps we can arrange a trade <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> My plunder for yours!

limited edition dvd

I bought the above mentioned version and even though it is excellent, it would have been good to get a poster with it. I wonder if Fraxis and SM will sell posters to those that buy the game (just a thought)
