yeah i was reading this just the other day. that is a great score and should be another hit by Sid Meier. It's still set to release 11/22 and I can't wait.

You mean after all the praise us beta testers gave it, and all the reassurances we gave you about the game, all it took was a review from some guy you've never heard of to change your mind?

It's been long known that people on bigger sites get trusted more just because the news comes from a big site and not much else. But other than that, others have been saying this game will be even better than the 9.2 score, which I agree with.

You have your NDA so you kind of have no choice but praise the game. All betatesters claim that their game is the best. It seems like the betatesters was right this time!!! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I am really happy for that Pirates score so high!!!
 
I wish every game I `beta-tested` had been worthy of praise. Many of them stink. I dunno, I thought we gushed and gushed enough to try to make you guys beleive that we were expressing true opinion and not just NDA smoke screen. No worries though, you are going to love it!
 
I'd be buy'n de game fer de reason O' what de Beta testers praise fer de game,an am sure thar be many others Captain Toast,but de main reason te keep in mind was tew find bugs an release a quality game so all de beta tester's efforts is not a waste O' time mate,an that fer sure is a good thing mate <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Ahh I thought it was `so-so` to be perfectly honest. While it has good points Pirates! will not be everyone's cup of tea.

But im not saying it's bad, just not what i was expecting maybe ill change my mind if i play it a bit more

`Half-life` 2 got a 9.2 from gamespot.

At pirates best, I realistically hope that it would justify:
gameplay 9
graphics 8
sound 8
value 9
tilt 9
