Small annoyance

good job! especially for so little time. i actually think that you are even faster then i was! oh, in case you want to know, the next 'promotion' is at 200 posts.

it's strange that i could never find the memory.mp file. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> but i never removed it either, so it has to be there somewhere.

oh, HRM, i remembered that you would except a challenge. how about beating my speed record without cheats? i did it without cheats as well, by the way.

1. What is the next rank?

2. Memory.mp should be in the main PotC folder, where BuildSettings.h and all of the folders are.

3. What speed record are you talking about (achieving the next rank?)

and

4. What cheats?? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

I never had memory.mp either. Never ever in whole my life. It seems there are some game versions that do have it and some that don't.

i don't know what the next rank is called, but you should be able to find it in the members list.

nope, couldn't find the file either. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

i'm talking about my sailing speed record. i opened a topic for a sailing race, but that has died down some time ago.

i mean like editing you ship's statistics and such. one person gave the heavy warship a speed of fifty knots once, leeting it go at 120 knots in a storm. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> but that's what i don't want. i like to do it with the statistics that are on your ship when you get it. NOTE: if you have a go at it, try it in a pirate designed ship, preferably at 30 knots+ wind speeds, in arcade mode. that's how you make the best chance.

you could try, but i never did. besides, i don't think that the wind in the storms is blowing harder than 40 knots at any time, so it wouldn't matter if you would try to beat my record in a storm or not, as the wind speeds at normal sea view bever exceed 40 knots either. besides, your sailos would be destroyed in the storm, which wouldn't exactly help.
