i recently formatted my pc, and want to play build 11.
But i cant be botherted redoing all the main quest!

SO DOES ANYONE HAVE A SAVEGAME SHORTLY B4 OR ANYTIME AFTER BEATING THE BACL PEARL! sum1 must!

Hi Minimal... Sorry I did not respond sooner - This savegame I have for you will only work if you have a game you purchased in the USA. If you have a Euro version of this game (I do not know where you're at), you'll have to get a savegame from someone who has a Euro PotC.

IMHO, with all the nice new things you can do in Build 11, you really will enjoy it more if you actually DO start the game from the beginning. You don't even HAVE to do the main quest if you don't want to.

That said, if you really really REALLY need a savegame, I have one you MIGHT be able to use. Actually I have several, but we'll start with this one.

It's around 6MB, which I am unsure can be handled by your hotmail account, so I've put it up on my anonymous FTP server.

NOTICE - you will need to have my Fred Bob Quest if you don't have it already - it is also on my ftp:

The file is called FBQfiles.exe and is a `self-extracting` archive so you won't need anything extra to open it up.

Instructions are within - PLEASE READ THEM and make sure you save the original files you will overwrite - that way you can replace them if something goes wrong. HOPEFULLY that won't happen, but JUST IN CASE... Please save your original files.

NEXT you will want the savegame.

It is in the "savegame" folder and is a start up from Douwesen, just before you go to Khael Roa. You will have to do the battle with Silehard and his pirates, then go into the temple, then battle the Black Pearl.

i have no idea bout the version of my potc as i bought it online.

however build 11 didnt detect any localised files, so im gunna go its the US version and therefore hopefully this will work.

I'm about to try this out so will get back to u in just a bit....thx!

i may play form the beginning if it chnages the main quest alot or summit, i onyl did the thing bout a week ago, and repeating ti seems a lil crappy.

Minimal Fuss, there are also a lot of side quests you can do besides the main one. It's not the only thing going on in the game.
