i think it's too late for do anything with protection system.

btw. Rusian experience of using SF show that only 5% of problems with PC have a StarforCe roots. 9%% jf problems - is very unclean system, hardware notcompatibility and old (or beta) drivers version.

but i still dislike starforce, it's only my own opinion (not Akella opinion).

ABout starforce..... Just burn an image file from yer dvd, then unplug it, and use the image to play... If you unplug the drive, the starforce wont recognize it as an image, but a dvd. So new Starforce its dangerous, and unsafe too... I regurarily do this with my purchased games. Of course, doing this not mean you have any rights to copy it. And I dont think so you can make a good copy of the image. just use it to play, and dont kill yer dvd player.

However, im not gonna publish with what programs you can do this. I greatly appreciate Akella's work, and dont want anyone to copy it. And those, who need this solution to keep their hardware safe, can find the proper programs themself.

However, I know some protection systems, which safe with your hardware, and yet unbreachable. I bet, you know some too, GreyAngel. Unfortunately, neither do I have any words in the lead of Akella. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

I been getting a bunch of weird hardware problems since I put the game in.
1.game would not run when cd and dvd drives where installed.and had to disconnect the cd rom drive.(have dvd version of game)
2.system slow downs and this is during none gameplay.
3.computer shut down and would not restart had to reset cmos
4.cpu fan making wierd sounds.(slowing down speeding up sounds)

None of these problems where there til right after I installed the game. I know its from it .this pos better not fry my computer.I will freakin sue StarForce for a new pc.

Its much easier to get a USB DVD and burn + insert the disk there and SF will recognize it as a original disk too.

and will the patch remove every trace of starforce from the system?
