Stock Prices

How do you make the prices of goods in the stores more like stock PotC? I don't want the quantity of an item that the store has to affect the price (I want to be able to buy as much of an item as the store has without its price changing).

Can anyone help?

Why? Do you have problems with the money?

Its true that the things are expensive in the game, especially in the begining, but it is so easy to gain money, that the prices of the things seems to me very riddiculous in the end. I got four Men of War and my pocket is still getting heavier and heavier, no matter what cost me to maintain my ships.

It's not the amount of money that's the problem, its the fact that the last 10 units of a good that I buy costs more than the first 10. While I'm guessing this mod was meant to add realism, in reality it detracts from the realism of the game. Realistically, prices for goods should change from year to year, or possibly even month to month based on the availability of those goods. The trader would buy these goods and the current market price, and then add a typical "middleman" markup fee. He wouldn't change the price based on how much he had left in the store.

So, can anyone help?

the difference is that instead of year to year or month to month, in the game the stock are replaced everyday, i guess thats why....

but you decide, indeed you have a good point there....

Might be possible to do this, but I'm not sure how.
Indeed you do make a valid point.
You might consider sending a PM to Pirate_KK.

Heh heh!!!

When I started out on Swashbuckler I had to go look for fights to gain enough gold to even complete the first part of the mission. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
