I was searching for some buried treasure to the west of santiago and i had landed just north west of the town and started searching for it. I searched around and noticed the landmarks didnt seem to match, but just thought i had been turned around, so i went back to the ship to try landing again.
After looking around a bit, they still didnt match so i looked around in the spyglass again and noticed a settlement, so i ran over there thinking i would get my bearings from it if i knew the name.
After looking on the map for the settlement I immediately noticed that something was wrong. In my game there were no settlements even near santiago in that location, so i started looking around the map and found it fairly quickly as it was to the west of Havana !
Somehow landing in that place had teleported me to the other side of cuba !
This was a few days ago, but i went back there 20 minutes ago to test it out again and its definately there for me and the location i was getting teleported to seems to be fairly random, but always on cuba (?)
I'm wondering if anyone else gets this glitch, its located on a wide beach on the coast where the arrow is marked. For some reason it can take a bit to get the game to register that you are actually trying to land there though so it could take a few seconds of ramming the beach to get the land option
edit: its fairly easy to tell if you have the glitch as your ship will be nowhere in sight
