Stuck in Fort screen

I'm in Port Au Prince in the Assassin story line and my quest is to go the fort but it gets stuck in the fort screen. The loading (coin) animation is gone and I can hear the effects where you can choose the options to fast travel, etc.
 
If you reload from a previous savegame, does that happen again when you try again?
Please <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showtopic=9234" target="_blank">enable error logging</a> and next time that occurs, post your compile.log, system.log and possible error.log here.
 
Yes it does happen again when I reload from a previous game. The next thing I do after that is to press ctrl+alt+del. lol. ..cause i can't exit from there. Where can I find the log files?

Once you have enabled error logging they are in your main PoTC directory under the names:
-error
-compile
-system
 
Next time the game crashes, try Alt+F4 to close the game. Hopefully that'd work without requiring you to reboot your computer.
 
Are you entering the fort by using the fast travel option? If so, I had the same problem. Entering the fort without using the fast travel option "fixed" this as in always using the gate instead of fast traveling.

I don't know if you were looking for an answer to solve this problem or just felt like reporting it, but here you go anyways <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Yeah, i used fast travel.. Gonna try going there without fast travel to see if it works. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
I'm pretty sure I used Fast Travel to go into at least one fort after I read a crash-report when doing that before.
It wasn't actually THAT fort though. I think I fast traveled into the Speightstown fort. Can somebody check that doesn't work either?

Fast traveling to Speightstown fort works. It just doesn't work on Port Au Prince. I think. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I haven't tried other forts other than those two. XD

Thank you very much! I saved the link to this post, so I should get around to looking into this some time soon I hope.
Depending on how much else I've got to do, of course. But I'm hoping to check it within the next two weeks or so.
 
I tried to fix the fort fast travel and managed to fix some apparent mistakes.
However, it doesn't actually solve the problem at all. HUH???
I sent a PM to Pirate_KK; hopefully he's got a clue what's wrong. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
