T & L questions

How do I check if my card supports T&L? I'm having a crash right after the opening cinematics and I don't know if this is the problem. I'm currently running:

Windows XP
Athlon 2000+
256 MB RAM
S3 ProSavage graphics
32 MB shared video memory

Somebody out there please help me out!

Sounds like you've got a notebook. Anyway, the S3 ProSavage Graphics car does not support T&L. You'll have to upgrade...

Yeah, the S3 Pro Savage card isn't very well supported these days anyways. Definitely would be worth your while to invest in a new card. GeForce 4 would probably do the trick and you can get them pretty cheap these days.

Does SMP even require TnL support though? I never bothered looking. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Ooohh... I was looking how to solve the problems that I was findig with the game and I think that I finally get the answer... The worst answer...

I have a vid card like this:
SIS 300/305/630/540/730
Chip: SIS 630
32 Mb.

I thought that the problem was try to actualizate my principal controller (sis300iv.dll) in order to compatilize it with the dammed directx 9... but now i read that the "migth" be that my card doesn ´t support T L...

Thats is the end? I can´t do anythig but buying a new vid card?

HELP!

Hardware T&L stands for texture and lighting.
