I have request to anyone who is using my <i>Black Pearl </i>in AoP. Since I don't have that game, I have no way of knowing whether my AoP-specific stuff is working correctly or not.

So, I'd like to ask for your help:
I'd like to know whether aft lamps are working correctly (are black during the day and lighted (and shining) during the night.)

I'd like to know whether lamps near main entrance working correctly, same as above, and whether source of light appears to come from withing the lamps, and not, for example, couple of centimeters to the left/right.

I'd like to know whether four torches along the sides are working correctly or not.

And, I'd like to see how rope railings look like in AoP <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

So, basically, I'd like to ask you for description or, better yet, some screenshots. Thanks in advance <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

I would like to help but only have the New Perl in POTC.
May be you can help how to put the Pearl into AOP?!

If you have AOP, i have ported kazeites new black pearl a month ago, it is on the AOP ftp in Thomas the Terror skinning under the name Black Pearl 2.0

I've downloaded the file. What are the installation instructions?
Straight into the AOP Folder? I've got AOP.Supermod and updates 1,2,3
installed.I'll have a go at it the next couple of days and will report back. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

The ships_init.c file does not have the settings for the BlackPearl!
Than I replaced the file with the one in the *rar file and changed the
line in the character_ini.c as per instructions in the readme.
The last two lines in the Compilelog read:
Warning!Missing init message to rope - Bad Shipmodel
Missing init message to flag: Bad Model.
However I will take your suggestion and just copy the
Program and resource folder in to AOP. Will follow up

Should be This: #define SHIP_TYPES_QUANTITY 19

(This is in ships.h)

I worked it out to install the New Black Pearl!
She is very nice, sails well and the lights work!!!
I would have liked to post a picture, but forgot
where windows puts it when one presses 'Print Screen'.
I'm sure that I will work it out, and when I do it will
be posted! POTC is a lot simpler, one only has to
press F8 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

When you press PrntScrn, it is put in the memory. Then you open Paint, press "Paste" and save the screenshot.

I had another look at the Perl and found the Deckview not so good
At the front of the ship you look straight down at the water and only the
Cannons are visible, the rest is ok.The ship has no Picture in any Menu
and it seem to crash more often in Battle......all the way to the Desktop! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" />

This view you get both in POTC and AOP.
The back is the same, you can not go up
the steps to the Vor or Aft Decks.
It just like sidestepping in POTC where your
character goes out of the frame suspended

Once last request - could I get a day closeup (and your opinion) of the rope railing? How do they look like?
 
WOW! Those light look great. Makes me wish we could get those to work in PotC as well.

I like the Pearl very much, if you can sort out the Deckview so that
one can walk up the steps to the For and Aft Decks, that would be even better!

Hm... railing look a little stiff in AoP... I was hoping they would sag a little... Oh well.
