They accept donations and give money to charities focusing mainly on the wellbeing of children.
That don't get much donations, so the money they give mostly comes out of their own pockets.

That's the one. I thought I recognised the gunports, then definitely recognised the coat of arms on the stern. However, whether they genuinely hired the ship to show red sails and their flag on the mainmast, or whether they simply Photoshopped a picture of Shtandardt, the picture is out of date because that's not the flag of Cook Island on the stern flagpole!

Photoshop, definitely.

The ship has only been under Cook Islands colours since I think June 2024.
As she's also not welcome in most places nowadays, by far most photos unfortunately show the previous situation.

They sound like pirates to me.
