Ok i wont put this as main site news as im reaching pretty far on this, but have a looksee here <a href="http://int.games.1c.ru/?type=news" target="_blank">http://int.games.1c.ru/?type=news</a>

Have we found SD2's new publisher? It dosnt say anything about future projects but i imagine seeing 1C and Akella are so close that it would have come up in conversation.......

One of the Akella guys I talked to at E3 told me that 1C now handles all of Akella's releases in Russia. For the rest of the world, who knows???

will it be the same as POTC or more extra features? because i see a lot of information around SD2 in 2002, but now I cant see much information!

So I am wondering?

Sounds like some great stuff coming in their "Sea Dogs 3", which is actually going to be called "Age of Pirates". New ships, multiplayer, new characters, new islands (think we're actually going to be in the Caribbean, this time!)... It'll also be a new Storm Engine - v3! So I think this game will be the game Sea Dogs 2 was supposed to be until Disney bought it and changed it to PotC. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

Our Sea Dogs 3 or Age of Pirates whichever, is much too important for any nefarious interference from the cartoonists clique. It sure is lookin good so far. Aboot time too. Me POC MOD after MOD is aboot plumb tuckered out.

I do not think Akella will allow that to happen again. I'm sure the money was nice, and it gave them room to develop some new games - but... They seem to truly want their Age of Pirates to be THEIR game - the game they REALLY meant to make to follow Sea Dogs. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

these screen shots look amazing - not heard of the game though. I hope Akella havent abandoned SD3/Age of Pirates to make this game.
