P.S: i noticed that your flags have transparency, and i have three things to say about that; 1) nice feature 2) how does it look in fog? 3) i think that black and other dark colours should have less transpanecy than light colours

2) Not shure, i havent actually really paid much attention in fog, but it seems to work rather ok

I once had the idea to add a second nation for England: One nation that is regular English, a second that is the navy. That way, it might be possible to give the navy different flags. It is possible to add new nations, so that's not the problem. However, how should we link both nation's relations to each other? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Do you mean create new a nation for a nation's merchants with their flags (eg. Dutch West India Company or WIC, British East India Company) and the national navies (the varying ensigns jacks)? This is a flag of the WIC:

Would be nice to have something like that, though I guess it'd make it easier to pick targets when attacking ships (not that WIC etc weren't heavily militarised and well armed).

That is the idea, yes. Pirate_KK managed to add a new nation for Nathaniel Hawk, so there's at least one person around who knows how to add new nations. The only problem would be to link both nations to each other so they have the exact same attitude towards you at any given moment. It shouldn't be obvious that they're two nations in realisty. That would enable different flags on ships from the "same" nation. I would really like seeing English Royal navy vessels. But I would especially like WIC vessels sailing around. However, for WIC vessels, we would need some new Dutch ship skins. At the moment, there are plenty of specific English skins, some French or Spanish, but no obvious Dutch ships. Dutch ships from that age all had green colours at the back: See the Batavia and especially the Amsterdam. Request to skinners: If you like, please make such a Dutch ship reskin! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
I'm currently finishing the fleets i began (the french one will be the shorter because at least one frigate and several corvettes are already brown and white) but that's on my plans <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
