Solved Time Period Progression?

Dear all,

If I choose an earlier period to begin with, will the later periods appear as my game progresses, so that the later ships will start appearing and that I can purchase those? Thank you.

I do believe so, not exactly sure. Code for that is there at least..

There is absolutely no progression between time periods in place. The starting date defines what period you're in and that remains the same for the remainder of your game.
That should not make that much of a difference though, because good luck with playing for 200 ingame years!

Vanderdecken sells some out-of-period ships. If you do want ALL ships to be available at the same time, there is a toggle for that at the top of PROGRAM\Ships\ships_init.c .
