To get PoleArm or Double Barrel at early game.

Hey guys,

Is there another post like this? I don' really know though.

I found a way to get a strong weapon for the start of the game as well for a double barrel gun.
Is there another weapon stronger that PoleAxe?(Heavy Weapon)

I don't know... It's hard for me to find a list of strongest weapon in game. But here's an easy way to get dull money while getting

~ YOUR STRONGEST WEAPON AT THE START OF THE GAME ~

Start as any character.
For PeterBlood, You have to end the starting part of his storyline.

First Off,

You start with a dull Rank 7 or Rank 6 ship.
A Dusak as your weapon (Medium Weapon).

JanStance start with a LongBarrel Gun.
PeterBlood, ( Depend on the loot of his starting storyline, Possible Mortar Strongest starting gun for Peter )
Diego Espinoza. (No Gun At All )

Here's what you do.

Head to the Tavern first. Talk to the Waitress.
Spam talk with her until a 3rd option is display.
Opening up an option saying.

'' I'll keep em' warm, Gorgeous ! ''

Now talk to the Barkeep and rent a room.
You will pay 100 for the rent than the usual 5 or 10.
Head up to the room and wait for her.

* SAVE HERE before you enter the room*

There is 2 possible event will happen.

1. You can get laid for only 100money. Cheapest *Censored* Screen in the game. If this happen, the 2nd event won't be available any longer at the current Tavern. Instead this will be the cheapest place than the Brothal for you only. Try another Tavern on another island to get the 2nd event available.

2. Instead of the Waitress coming into your room. Oh my god ! you are being threaten by a Thief. He is weak but he have a double barrel gun and a PoleAxe.

Kill him fast !
He is strong but his life is weak !
1 Power blow could kill you. I know i did hahaha.
Then Loot for luck.

If you get the Axe instead of the Gun. You can try this tactic the 2nd time on the next day. With a different kind of Waitress.
If you loot none, Load back and try for luck.

I got lucky. =) found this tactic by accident.

Personal experience.

This might not happen often,
You have to find the right Tavern for this.

Which is set by random on any occasion.

If you exprience that the waitress keeps appearing into the room.
Try loading 5times.
If she still insist on getting a '' laid on '' to you.
Ignore this Tavern and head to another island Tavern.

Do not talk to the Tavern Waitress yet.

Save Up.

Have a test on your luck with the Tavern Waitress.
Get the 3rd Option available again.
Rent the room.

*Save New File*

Now get inside the room.
If she appear into the room.
Reload and try again.
If she stubbornly enter the room.
Load back the file b4 this.

If you chose to get laid,
2 event will happen.

1. You had fun with her, she enjoyed it.

2. You had fun with her, she enjoyed it but stole your money while you sleep.
(She didn't steal that much though)

Find a new Tavern. Hope for luck for the 2nd event available.

I think the 2nd event will open up IF you have only lesser money like under 2000 or so.

I'll test this out right after I finish the Blue Bird Quest.

Hey, I'm back again !

Tested out my money theory and it turn out.
Money does change the effect of events.

So carry under 1000 or less.

Save up,

And try your luck !

If you want to easily loot them, Use the strategy I found out through the forums called SaveScum I think

You fight against the Thieft.
Save,
And kill him.

If you didn't get the Axe or Gun.

Load back and you get the first strike on him.
Make sure before you save, Bring out your weapon.

So hope you enjoy this ! It works with any character, As long as you have the money to pay the rent !

And last but not least.

This tactic only work until you meet up with the Waitress that likes you.
What do I mean that she likes you?

No matter how rich or poor you may be...

She will always be there to have '' FUN '' with you.

So try another Tavern if this happens.
Right that's all there is to it.

I will add that if the barmaid rolls you for your money during your encounter, she will ALWAYS take exactly HALF of what you have. So if you're carrying 8 million pieces of eight, she is going to be a rich woman with 4 million peices of eight leaving you with 4 million.

What I do is rent the room from the bartender for a hundred pieces of eight, then I give all my money to one of my fighters. I keep only 20 gold. This way I can see if she robs me or not. If I have ten left then I know she rolled me. I figure the good time was worth at least 10 gold. With the ten left over I can still give the barkeep 5 more to rent the room again for the rest of the night.

I then simply just transfer my money back from my fighter to my own possession again in the morning.

Owhhh... I never realised she can take half of what I got...

I don't really care about my money though, As long as I can get them easy, Who cares about money. =)

But this is when she rob me during my sleep on the night I spend with her.

The first time I wanted to stop playing Peter and Enjoy playing the other character, ian Stance.

I was poor only had 2000, my starting ship was a rank 7 Tartane.

222 hull.
14. speed.
43. manuver.
247 Cargo weight.
12lbs / 8cannons.

I say not a bad challenging start. I like to take things slow from poor to rich.
For fun, I accidentally spam talk with the Lady in the Tavern.
Opened up a 3rd option and took it.

Oh so I thought it was a night to remember by,
Instead she hired someone else to either Steal something from me or be killed.
He was weak, But his Equipment. a PoleAxe and a Double Barrel Gun.

Here I thought,

'' Hey, I wonder if I can loot that poleaxe of his ''

I saved, did some savescum.
Over almost 10 save load's I tried.
At the least I expect when I try to give it up.
My luck turn out as I least didn't expect...

A PoleAxe with the Double Barrel Gun in 1 Loot ! with extra 100Bullets.

From here, Why don't I do this often ! Free Bullets ~ HAHA.
Now I have about 1000+ bullets from 3 different Taverns.

Not all of the Tavern turn out as I expect.
