Trouble finding Petros

Ok here's the deal.

When Jack Rackham (in the point a pitre tavern) tells me to sail to ans casse-bois to go find petros at his plantation, he aint there??
there a dude called francois de vingy but noone else!

Did you go ashore alone having told the others to watch the ship? (oops!)
 
yup, went ashore alone still noone, is there some dialogue i'm missing to tell my men to watch the ship? I just removed them from my officers list, currently there's the danish guy, mr. gibbs and two of my own officers. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

PS: rackham sends me to the store, is there something special i need to do there?

Tell them to come with you when you go ashore - go to the FAR side of the clearing when you leave the beach.

Only go back to the tavern afterwards - but it looks like you did that.
 
Nope still nothing, here's what i did.

back from the shop, rackham tells me to sail to anse cass-bois. I removed all my officers, sailed and went ashore at anse casse bois. added my my officers (gibbs and the danish guy) upon entering the beach. Left the beach area to the outskirts area and went to the ''entrance to plantation'' area (but like i said in the house there's just francois de vingy). Also walked around in the clearing a bit but still no petros.

Also tried to speak to the characters rather than remove them as officers but the mister gibbs dialogue consist of ''...'' and ''...'' as a reply, danish conversation is just danish jibberish and the corresponding reply.

Back from the shop - Rackham tells you to go to Anse Cass-Bois - <u>DON'T remove anyone</u> - sail to the beach - when you land at the beach Gibbs will speak to you.
Take him and Peter with you to the plantation (The quest tells you you are supposed to be taking Peter to meet Petros).
