txconverter question...

I'm just trying to make the lo_man sailors on the deck more detailed and I was going to convert the textures so I could work on them. Only problem is the txconverter cannot see the lo_man_1.tga.tx associated with the models. What am I doing wrong? also I'd like to take some of the other Characters and repaint them.
Any help would be great...

Hmm. It should be able to convert them, it works for me.
Point the rightside pane of the TX Converter to resourcetexture and look for the lo_man files.

For characters, point the right side to resourcetexturescharacter

Are you able to change ANY of the textures, CannonFodder? Because I had that problem with the txconverter too. I finally had to use Rexman's converter instead...

It's on the PA ftp in the /files/Utilities folders. Not as nicely designed as the txcoverter but it worked for me and that was all that counted. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

Hey Catalina, I figured it out.... I was trying to convert from left window to right right window... you have to convert the other way around <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> Cool

Ah... I tried that, to no avail. Program just didn't work for me. I've learned to get along with the Rexman one, which works just fine.
