I have a Dell P4 2.8 Ghz with 512mb RAM and the integrated Intel 64mb video card which is causing the lockup problem like so many others here on the board.
I need a new card but also need to eat. I can probably spend under $65 and would be comfortable with just a replacement 64mb card rather than upgrading to a 128mb card. The only other 'newer' game I currently play is Civ3 as well as some oldies but goodies.
recommendations?
EDIT - I installed the latest intel drivers dated 3/16/05 for this graphics card and with the Res set at 640x480 and the video details maxed out I was able to play for 4 hours last night with no lockups!!!
