You're playing the sidequest Find Angelique Moulin's Father. You've killed Antoine Chamfort, returned to Buccaneers Camp and told Francois the good news, and now he's following you through the jungle back to town. Unfortunately, you're attacked by bandits and Francois is killed in the crossfire.
You return to town anyway, talk to Angelique, she thanks you for finding her father, and then Francois does not say anything because he's lying dead somewhere back in the jungle. The quest is now broken.
The attached files should fix that: "PROGRAM\QUESTS\quests_side.c" and "RESOURCE\INI\TEXTS\ENGLISH\QUESTBOOK\Moulin.txt".
The quest now sets a check for Francois Moulin being killed after you talk to him in Buccaneers Camp. If he is, a new line at the end of "Moulin.txt" should appear in the questbook, which should then close. And Angelique Moulin will not be waiting for you in town.
