Need Help where is that informer?

can someone help? i was supposed to sail to bridge town with that other dude to transport troops to some cavern.
but when i got here, i just accessed the port as usual. guy wasnt here and i cant go on. yes i already have the the guy with troops in my party, so that cant be problem.

plz help

That used to hang up there often, but has been quite reliable for some time. Go back to your last save at Port Royale and sail directly to Bridgetown. It should work then.

well, this means im fked up, i have no save before departing redmond

I hate it when that happens. I now keep at least 2 saves when deleting old saves.

If you use the save on departing redmond - sail to Bridgetown - then it should work.

I suggest you don't have any officers or crew with you when you go ashore at Bridgetown port ( because there are a lot of NPCs generated by the game in Bridgetown port the extra characters can sometimes stop game characters from appearing in a location - due to character number limitations for any location ).

At Bridgetown port I think the captain of the ship you are escorting is generated on the jetty with you and talks to you then the person you should meet ( Wilfred ) walks up and talks to you.
