Where you get your Men ?

I never get enough men to raid any city successfully....

Either there are not enough in the taverns of the towns (there are between 15 in larger citys and 25 in pirate hideouts). Or I´ve not enough time to collect them all, because they are getting angry from town to town....after 3 or 4 "allied" citys they are close to mutiny.....

I´m dreaming of raiding Carthagena or Panama <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

Usually in taverns or when I battle enemy vessels. It´s no prob to get enough man for a raid. It´s a prob to keep them happy / satisfied. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> Have enough food, make enough money and they maybe keep happy. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

You get more men if you:

1)Have a higher reputation.
2)Have a high rank in the nation that controlls the city.
3)Beat the guard captain who is bothering the bar maid before asking the men to join.

And, there may be others.

The higher the amount of gold when you divide and plunder that each crewman takes, the more will want to join you the next time you set off <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />
