Who is forgetful me? Or Silehard?

I just instaled build 14 apha 6, and i found it great, it was a huge difrence from build 13 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" /> But then i dicided to do the main quest, so I rerurned to Silehard and informed him about the Oxbay attack he reacted as normal and said that i needed to investegata... and blah blah.... Then i sailed happily to Oxbay did wath i was supposed to do and got a french officer drunk, killed him for information, and returned to Redmond. Then when i returned to Silehard my character only wanted to inform the governor that Oxbay was attacked, then Silehard said i needed to go to Oxbay to investegate <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" /> (deyja vu)
I thougth for my self wath the *bip* must be a bug, so i started a new game and tryied to do the quest a diffrent way, but Silehard still wouldn't let me inform him that my mission was a succes <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" /> he still only let me inform him about the same thing over and over again "Im sorry Oxbay has been attacked" ARRRRRRRRGH <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_twisted.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":twisted:" border="0" alt="icon_twisted.gif" />
Looks like my both my character and SIlehard has a short memory since none of them could remember that i aleready had informed him...

So anyway is there a way to fix this bug? or has Silehard got mad?
 
after killing the frenchy for information, go to falaise de fleur continue the mission and after go to redmond
 
Tryied that to <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> But Silehard still won't give the next mission...He only give me the go to Oxbay mission over and over again <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ib012.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cry" border="0" alt="ib012.gif" />
 
With what flag did you start the game? Might make a difference.
 
it wasn't related to your flag, i think. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_confused.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="icon_confused.gif" /> but maybe it helps to start with your personal flag.
 
If you have a different flag, you start in a different port. Might make a difference. Or if you select your personal flag, but select a starting location other than "Tutorial Deck".
 
K, i'll try using a diffrent flag... I hope it works...
Edit: Argh! Still won't work, now the french gate guards dosn't want to talk with me either, my character stops and can't move and the walk stright to me, and but then they just stop, and no dialog comes <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Also i have tried every single port with the standard flag... And i know i started the quest the right way cus ive seen the invasion movie and i still meet Rheims and the guard stops me outside the townhall....the problem seem to be Silehard and those two gateguards outside Oxbay....
 
odd. never seen it in that form before. with me, the guards in front of the mansion didn't stop me and i had the problem with silehard. if i only could remember what the solution was. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

My godness i managed it! And guess wath! It wasn't Silehards fault! It was MALCOLMS! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" /> I had to do the complete tutorial then it worked for me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
Now i can sail the Caribbean and happilydo the main quest <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" /> Ironicly now i have problem with Nigel Blythe, he won't leave my crew! Im going back and fourth to Redmnod, has that quest been changed once more?

I found the issue in the Nigel Blythe quest <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> One piece of code seemed to be missing in the quest reactions file.
The one that didn't work looked like this:
