Windows 7>10 Installation?

I've tried 3-4 times by now.
Keep getting this error:

Disabling the virus scanner didn't help.
Clearing up 130 GB of disc space didn't do the trick either.

I don't know what else to do.
I don't even WANT to update to Windows 10.
I just want to be able to keep using my bloody computer.

I've had it for 10+ years and after the SSD upgrade is still functioning quite fine.

I was using the Media Creation Tool, "MediaCreationTool1903.exe".

Will try to uninstall Kaspersky altogether and then do that "clean boot" thing.

Aaaand... failed. Yet again.

The process gets pretty far. Files download; files install; computer goes rebooting.
And then somewhere along the way, "it" decides it's not happy and undoes all its hard work.

If I remember correctly you can say that you want to install them at a later time and then you make a bootable USB drive with the Windows 10 files.
After that you boot from this drive and the installation should be like when you format W7 and reinstall W7, only that you will install W10.

You will need your Windows 7 code I believe, since you are upgrading.
 
I am probably going to install W10 on one of my laptops that as of now has W7, and in the further future the other one as well.
 
Seems interesting, let's hope Microsoft doesn't ruin this once more.

They probably will, but anyway.

Have you installed Windows 10 by the way?
