Plus, you could even draft up some concept art to get a better idea of where you want a story to go. And before you know it, you're combining artistic skills with creative writing!

Another point is, being a newbie is not a bad thing. Most of us started off just like you, with no prior modding knowledge whatsoever, and got started by learning through doing.
