    Flash developer

Awesome, thanks mate :D Got an exam tomorrow/Monday, and then my power supply for my comp (-.-) arrives hopefully tuesday; but i'll see if i can get a hold of the pdfs for the concepts and see if i can hand crank my notebook :P

    Flash developer

I'm doing Flash at Uni atm :D, so might be able to help. In truth, Flash is generally not that great and the majority of what you do when it comes to something worthwhile is all just code - making the program a little less important. Pretty much you do the art in Photoshop (at least I avoid...

"The Short of It" and "Now What?"

Well, "It's not size that matters, its how you use it!" xD Point being, infinite amount of people or not, should plan for the best and work to make the best. The thing is, with the engine's source code it CAN be updated to keep up with modern developments, along with people that will always try...

"The Short of It" and "Now What?"

Definitely agree there. The Build Mod as far as i can see has grown an extreme amount, and no offence to anyone (as i know the quality is great, and there are requirements in place), but that does mean differences in quality, with things standing out (in a good way, or bad, from everything else...

Happy Birthday, Captain Sir Henry Morgan!

Any thing for a Photoshop Guy

    Hooray!! Better late than never <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />.

I really like the twister one as is. Looks pretty nice. My only worry about these though is they are 1024 x 768, that's going to be a lot of stretching for most screens.

Very nice work. I agree, you might want to shrink your stuff down a little, to show more picture. But it's mostly pretty perfect. Start New Game is my favourite.

That's a large improvement, and a simple change. Should test it out, but I'm thinking maybe pushing the logo to the right might be better.

    Steam...Ironclad...

17km/h for the win!! 9 knots is a little slow for some. USS Merrimack (which the Virginia was built from) could do 12 knots and was steam and sail. Virginia has nothing to give an extra boost <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0"...

I vote 3 of course :P. 2 is good, and the work of two people, but like you had said before, is the art from another game, so, not too sure. I like 1 as a splash screen and art wise, but not really as a splash screen for PotC, as it lacks the action and adventure i think is needed. 4 is cool...

    Old IronSides

Omg. That is beautiful. Very nice model by the way <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />, sweet detail.

    Steam...Ironclad...

So it seems quite possible then? I'm going to have a go at making the CSS Virginia soon, for starters. Pretty nice boat.

Hmm, that image seems very stretched. I like the idea of skull and hammers, but is it just me or are the two hammers at different angles to each other? Simply mirroring one of them should make the other perfect, i think the problem might just be the skulls isn't placed in the centre.

    Steam...Ironclad...

I obviously haven't been around for awhile, so I wouldn't know what thoughts or ideas have been thrown around about these things. After a quick search i didn't find much, some dead work from 2004, and some stuff from 2006, but nothing solid. Steam and Ironclad. Not much really to say, but what...
