    I have found that if you reload a game that has been saved just inside the temple, before danielle talks to you about splitting up, they may not appear in that room after reloading, ye savvy? Be sure to save before entering the temple, or after this conversation.

    I usually take Swordfighting as the special strength, that makes the fights a little better, makes your wins a little faster, and your guesses a little better when fencing.

    I don't know, mate, I think you just start doing pirate things. Hoisting the jolly roger helps. IF you raid a merchant ship, you will be declared a pirate. I am not sure, I only tried v 11 for a bit before going back to 8.3
