1st Person on Land?

I dont have AoP yet and was just wondering if you are able to walk around on Land in 1st Person Mode. if not can you enable it in a config file somewhere ? or will it be included in a mod?

I'm with Kaydra on this one. 1st-person view in this situation is useless.

My personal view of using FPS is that it increases the feeling of involvement. Makes things more immediate and allows for a stronger suspension of disbelief. Instead of watching things from behind a construct, it's 'you' standing there, facing off against the big bad world. And in any RPG, suspension of disbelief and a feeling of immediacy are important factors.

Just my quarters worth. (Inflation, don't ya know)

I agree with you Cap'n Drow. In real life, I don't see myself from behind. 3rd person is ok to some extent, but in my humble opinion, it is much easier to "suspend disbelief" and immerse yourself into the game world in first person.

So is it possible to include 1st Person? I think POTC was originally 3rd Person wasn't it - with 1st Person included by editing the scripts ?
