I have Max 6 but only a Personal Learning Edition of Maya 4.5
I have never heard of a *.gm file. However I know of people with full versions of Maya 4.5
Is it possible do you think to work on something in Max fro the game and just use Maya to convert to this .gm format?
Also can someone point to me the 3D modding thread if there is one. I'd love to get started on making some objects and especially buildings.
Thanks!Inez Dias's Tool will work to convert VRML to .gm files, so if you can save in VRML you will be set!
The Maya plugin that converts to .gm files will ONLY work with the FULL version of Maya 4.5 and no other version including the PLE of Maya 4.5.

Inez Dias's Tool fo making objects sounds ideal. I'm currently delving into how it works. When I've figured it out I'll be back asking more questions no doubt from you more experienced modders.
