Well I'm on the quest to find Danielle in Isla muelle if i'm not mistaken,so I went to conceicao to take those papers for the priest and when I enter the port just when I moor I get a message that Artois left to the town,and his quest begins over,how?I already finnished it!I have the option at the bartender to ask if he knows something about artois and then this dead guy upstairs and then murder occusation WTF? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock:" border="0" alt="icon_eek.gif" />

Anybody knows how to fix that bug with Artois?

Vlad, are you sure you have the most recent updates to B12? It looks to me like Nathan fixed that problem with a quest check.

Use your B12 installer to get the updated files, go into your game BEFORE you found the error, then hit "I" to reinitialize. See if that helps, I think it should. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />
 
Do you mean that I should use the build instalation file?what should I choose to install there?just the "online updates"?or something else?

Edit:I did what you said(At least I think that i got the updates) and then I mannaged to moor at conceicao without loosing Artois,but when I talk to him he repeats his story about his captain and ask me to acsept him as an officer again and when i do accept him the quest begins all over again. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Your situation is extremely odd, however. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Perhaps NathanKell can look at a savegame of yours, try emailing him a zipped copy with an explanation. He's been kinda busy tho, so if you don't hear from him right away, that may be why.

It should read Updated to Build 12.1 at de bottom of yer screen at de game beginning when it auto reinitializes
 
where?at the main menu screen where I load the game?I don't see "Updated to Build 12.1" anywhere....plus I have some "Foam"errors watever they mean.. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />
 
The "updated to build 12.1" message occurs when you `re-initialize` - if you press the "I" key you should see that message in the text that scrolls on the screen on the left. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
Ok it does not say that.....although I see a text scrolling to my left that sais that the game reinitialized but i don't see "Updated to build 12.1" I just see the alliance of the nations and some other things but no more.....I gues it did not updated the build but why?

Doesn't look like you got the update. Try using your B12 installer again - check ONLINE UPDATES - and you will hopefully get the files you need. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

Can anyone post a pic of how it should look when I update to 12.1?
I mean the pic of this text scrolling with the message that the game was updated.
