Started in POC, made some side quests, made some main quests, then I was smuggling, I was thinking I was having the best pirate life. But then, I decided to share my little knowledge of the game in these forums... and so I found the Build Mod.

I started again a new game, and I have to say I'm enjoying this game more and even more... thanks to build mod, THAT'S a real life, you can now choose really what to do, which flag will you have... And if you get involved in a sea battle and lose some reputation with one country is not so easy as going to a pirate island and pay 200 gold for raising it again... first it's a lot more of 200 gold... second it's more dangerous than ever to be hostile to a nation (with big ships so you can't escape). The monks and the artifacts... Better to see it... I'm recommending it to all people I know that have POC, because here, in Spain, nearly no one has ever heard about Build Mod.

Ey, BTW, are you thinking to translate it? I can make the Spanish translations! Bye and thanks again!
 
m8, if you really want a new experience download and dump the post build mod ontop of it <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
 
What's the difference between the build and the post build mod? How do I know which I installed? (sorry for raping your topic here, killin. :p)
 
The Post Build 12 modpack (available through Pieter's Pirates Page - link in my signature) is an additional modpack for Build 12. It will add a lot of extra stuff to Build 12. It's basically the Build 13 update, but it's still in beta-stage and there are still several highly annoying bugs. If you want the most stable game experience, stick to Build 12. If you want lots more features and don't mind some additional bugs, get the Post Build 12 modpack as well.
