hi all,

since NK screwface and CCC are busy with new locations etc. I thought of an idea for waiting with the locations, because the russion AOP will fall this month, and since they coded it excacly the same as POTC, we can bring those locations models into the new islands like turks or espaniola for POTC. that'll give us plenty of satisfaction till the english version will be released <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> (hope that's soon <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> )

That aint a bad idea, that. There will be codes you'll have to change to make it compatible with PotC, though. I just need to get hold of a copy to check things on it. Any ideas what shops to start looking in? and a translator for Russian wouldnt be too bad either.

But there aren't many russian-speaking people here. And they are all working on the translation of the A&M Add-on, which I think should be our main priority at the moment. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

We could find a russian translator on google, or something.

Uh, first, I'm sorry to say it won't be legal... :\
(Unless we all each buy AOP before using the new models).
Also, in the FAQ they mention it's using an updated storm engine, so I'm not sure the geometry will be so portable.

Heck, it would be nice if we could transfer our builds to AoP, I´ll take it there´ll be a lot similar issues, perhaps not bug fixing- but gameplay-wise.
