hello,
I know this is really an idiotic question, but let's admit it.. i'm stupid...
I have to install first the build12_full (12.1) and then the post_b12_full or otherwise?
I'm asking cause i'm having a little problem.
I know is an idiotic question and feelfree to shoot on me to death but i have a doubt in my mind (that little part of mind that work of course).

You should do a clean install of PoTC, then Build12 and run the batch file in your PoTC folder. Then install the post build mods and run the language translator file and finally go to Pieter Boelen's site(you can find a link in his signature in the forums) and download the latest update patch and install that.

Then you can make the changes you want in Build settings.h, start a new game and press 'I' to initialise the changes.

Hope you enjoy the Build and Post Build, superior by far to the stock game.

The latest update to the Post Build has got some great new mods and features however it's quite buggy and is crashing frequently. So if you're after a stable game skip the 18/3/06 update for the moment, stick to the Build 12 Full and Post b12 Full and wait for further updates. Hopefully the bugs will be fixed soon.

p.s. The previous update 5/3/06 is pretty stable and appears to be still available at Pieter's Pirate Page if you want to give it a go.

I have downloaded and applied the 5/3/06 and is fantastic !

i can say that Bethseda have just layed the base and you guys have done the real game.

if you want extra realism in the artillery duels, you can find Merciless's cannon FX 2.0 on the Pirates ahoy FTP, that is if you know how to access it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

The 18 March release is only available through the Post Build 12 mods thread. At the day I uploaded it, I didn't have time to add it to my site. Once I found out it really doesn't work well, I didn't bother to add it to my site anymore.
