Add Poison upgrade/enhancement possibility to blades

When I think about adding daggers to Build Mod I got another idea for melee weapons upgrade/enhancement!

What you think about adding POISON upgrade/enhancement possibility to swords and daggers?

Normally I think to add this upgrade ONLY to Blacksmiths in PIRATE TOWNS/PORTS and its cost Must depends on quality, damage, and cost of weapon which we went to add this upgrade <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jackhat.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":j2" border="0" alt="jackhat.gif" />
 
Well there is the Borgia Blade which is a poison blade. It is usually found in chests & is coloured red.
 
The only way of doing that is to make two versions of each blade: one poisoned, one not poisoned. When you "upgrade" the blade, one not poisoned one is taken from you and one poisoned one is given to you. It would be possible and even relatively easy. Just make some adjustments to initItems.c and then add some dialog to the blacksmith for swapping. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
 
We're reusing something we already have in game. There's a Borgia sword which can't be bought or sold but it is poisoned.

This sounds rather complicated. I mean there's a load of swords, each with 5 or so many levels of quality. But about a year ago, I made suggested making equipable amulets, that add special effects to your attacks, like stun or poison (among other possible bonuses).
 
That'd indeed be easier to do. And such amulets could be given to you by the new indians. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
