I dont think this mail needs translation, as it is easy to understand. Its very short, indeed.
Of course, I immediately send a correspondance to Dmitry Arkhipov (VP Developer, Akella) asking of this accept.

Any idea if this engine supports normal mapping? 'cause that would make modeling a bazillion times more fun. more work - but more fun, with a nicer looking result.

Yeah - I was super inspired - I hadn't even heard of Akella coming out with a new game. I'll check out that link Pieter, and I'm going to have to start visiting more often again now that I'm out of school. At least for the summer. People, last time I was around we got some tools and shipmodels from Akella and some mails from Edward Zaitsev, describing how to build and import ships from scratch into PotC. Somebody even started a "Steering Comitee", like the pro´s have it in i.e. Pirates of the Burning Sea. I see a lot of beautiful new ships coming into this mod, but none of them are made from scratch. How far did we get with these informations, were they useless?

I could take another round in the boxing-ring with Akellas mail-provider, but I wonder if they know something we dont, concerning PotC.
