Amazon.com ships AOP August 4th !!!

Just ordered mine, they say they have been in stock since Jully 20th !!



They say Age of Pirates Ships August 4th to customers !!

Atari was announced some time ago by Playlogic to distirbute AOP English version,what suprises me is the release date,wouldn't hold my breath on that one <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

I checked the Amazon.com site a week ago exactly and there was NO information about AOP: CT at all, only Captain Blood and I posted that in the Playlogic forum. Only the Amazon UK site had a date and some very basic info.

NOW just these past few days the Age of Pirates info. gets posted to Amazon.com, and they say it has been in stock since July 20th.

I hear you though Skull, never can put the horse before the cart. I'll try to call them come Monday, but my order did say I would recieve by August 8th ! I invite members of the forum to participate as if it holds up to be true, it would make Amazon.com the earliest retailer to have Age of Pirates in Stock.

Good idea Sargon, I really loved those wooden shipmodel pics you sent me.

EbGames is reporting the game coming out second week in September ... Wonder what the official date is going to be.

Muldini says September 5th for North America, so far looks like EB Games has September 11th William.

Believe it or not Amazon.com says they already have it but Muldini at Playlogic says no.

Thanks for the Heads up PirateSam, sure hope they are shipping soon, I too put in an order a week ago.

At least they'll have it before EB Games, they say September 11th for their stock to be released.

EB games just changed the shipping date to 9/18/06, we probably will see a one week shift now every week until its finally ready to ship
