An idea for the FORT AMMO problem! PUBLIC TOPIC

My brain are just jumping and twisting....

Maybe It could be that easy, to fix that problem??

I have an idea, but,

PLEASE POST ANYTHING HERE that maybe can be an idea to FIX that!

So: im not sure, that the forts exactly have an amount of ammo, or they just stop firing without reason:
sometimes ships do this too.

BUT: Lets say, every time you step into the distance of a port, (I mean, when you appear, changing from map, or switch form the port scene, somewhere around, where U generate the ships to around the port)
So, around the code whats generates ships around the island, U can add a code that EVERY TIME you approach, add ammo for the fort, and ALL the ships near, or, if its not ammo related, just somehow 'reset' the forts cannons, and the ships, or FORCE EM' to load only balls, if its ammo type related.

What do you think? I dont want to blabbing about things what I dont know, so, if the idea is dead, plese, let me know.

Anyway, I made this topic, to INVITE YOU ALL!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" /> to post all your ideas about the ship, or fort behavior problem here. Thats how I can learn the details of the POTC system, and you all put yer thoughs about this problem in one place.

So, again, lets do this! Thanks for your support, its need to pay it back, and learn from your dialogs!
 
Pleeease post any idea about how forts work.
ANy info could help, what yoou know about its system,
and any idea, why they stopped firing.

Until this, they just dont fired, but displayed correct info about crew&guns in the spyglass.
But...:

After I installed the march 18 update, when I look into the spyglass, the only info it shares about the fort is 'Fort' and the distance, no matter how close I am.... No guns, or crew displayed. IT seems, that forts became totally braindead. PLEASE use this topic!
 
Something's wrong with the 18 March version. I'll try to fix it.
