Hi guys is there any plans for POTC to have multiplayer in future ??

Dont you think that a game like this would be wonderful as a MMRPG ?

I would pay monthly to play it !
 
As far as I know, nobody is trying to make Pirates of the Caribbean an online game. Does Pirates of the Burning sea have online multiplayer ? and does it include portugese and the dutch ?????
 
love to see an online pirate game... wasn't PIRATES sopose to be online too? oh well they'll never make one that you don't have to pay some whacked off amount of money a month... aop will be just like POTC but with the stuff they side would be there (not multi player though i don't think)

HellAngel, PotBS is only an online game, they do not offer a game you can play when you are offline. The game looks awesome (Akella artists have been helping with the ships and skins) and even tho I don't get into online gaming it makes me want to try it... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

I really wish to see a game one day were players could play in the pirate and gun powder era but with a bigger map were it includes Brazil in the south and canada area in the north.

With Portugal in the game owning colonies in brazil.
I wish it coul be a MMRPG were a new whole experience. Thats why im very curious about the game that the guys in Chronimex are creating.

There was a guy CYBEROPS witch made also the master trainer and he is working on the game but he seems busy its been days that he doesnt post here now.

<b>LUSITANO, </b>I think what you might be looking for is something that KOEI has been working on - there was an old game called "Uncharted Waters" - it came out for the PC and also for Nintendo. You sailed the whole WORLD - and in the second version of the game, "New Horizons" you could play a pirate or do other different quests depending upon the character you chose.

Then there were more versions of the game that never came out in English, only in Korean and Japanese, I believe.

Their newest version of this game is called "Uncharted Waters ONLINE" and will be a HUGE online gaming experience where you CAN sail the entire world. It sounds to me to be a bit ambitious, but I've seen the game in action (it's not out yet, I saw it at E3 last year) and it looks tremendous.

According to what I read in some of their forums, it's already been through betatesting, and the Japan release is due this month - March 15th, I believe. Not sure at all what's happening about any kind of release for the rest of the world... KOEI has a branch office in the USA but at E3 they didn't seem to know much about UWO... The one fellow who did talk with us said they were looking at releasing it for the rest of the world - in English - but had no further details at that time... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I think that's what you're really looking for - and just a small tidbit - one of the main characters you could play in UWNH is PORTUGUESE (Joao Franco), and the ONLY main character in UW is from Portugal. I think you'd like those old games. They're pretty simple by today's standards but I still bring 'em out and play them once in a while. I don´t know Unchartered Waters, but old games DO have something about them. Every now and then I like to start up Colonization, Master of Magic or even Dune 2.

Have you heared about LIFE OF A PIRATE that Chroniwerx are creating ? its a game based on UNREAL engine and it is going to be a gem were you also can sail around the whole globe !!

They are trying to expand with a new office in the USA, and as I mentioned, they were considering making UWO in English, but we will have to see if this idea pans out.
