how do i get the fred bob quest going? i know if i keep lookin ill find him or whatever... i know if i look for the right thread ill probably find it too. but im going to be honest... i dont want to look. ive had a bad day and i dont feel like a frustrated search. somebody help this sailor.... im at the end of my gibbet.
 
Ahoy Red Roth,
Sorry to hear you're having a bad day, maybe this will cheer you up. Go to Falaise de Fleur, the French island, and on the port beach, near to the harbour master's house, the house nearest to the water, you'll find Orable Canon (99% sure of the first name, less so on the second name.) He is a guy with short brown hair.

When you approach him, he will offer to give you information for money. give him the money. This is the good part, he will tell you things and you can choose to be annoyed and he will offer to tell you more things. Threaten to go, but do not go until he tells you about a bosun on a nearby beach.

i just helped the spanish lady escape with her pirate lover. she told me there was a letter in the tavern on the pirate island but when i went there i talked to everyone and i couldnt find it. any help?
 
Don't worry - it's not there. You must have the version that doesn't explain in the logbook - there is no note... YET... I left it like that so that there might be a continuation of the quest at some point...
 
ok thats cool. so is that the end of fred bobs quest for now? and there is some family quest where im lookin for some guy's son, im not sure whats next on that front.

You *can* fire him - and rehire him if you wish. I set it up so that he'll argue with you some, and then if you insist he'll go, walk away, and eventually fade away... You may find him on your own, or you can talk to Orable Caron again and he'll tell you where you might find him again - and you can hire Fred Bob all over again. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Ooops forgot - the son you're looking for is for that guy on the beach in FdF? Heh.
