When you die on land you wake up in the tavern. And on sea you get a little boad. But you lost many things (MONEY!!) so it's not easy to become the "before-player-dies-status" back. I think a automatical realod from the last savegame (savepoint) when you die is better. Becuase i alway reload when I die.

Hmm could you add this option to the modpack or tell me how I can do this (if no one else wants that)
 
I quite like that you don't die, but lose some of your stuff instead. It makes for a new challenge. I don't know how to write such a mod either. But if somebody writes it, I'll add it into the modpack with a toggle on it, so I can turn it off for myself. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
Pieter, it seems to me you didn´t catch the point what summersufer talked about. I think he doesn´t mind if he die from time to time as I don´t mind it because the game is more challenging at least ( it seems to me it is too easy in last versions, especially fencing skirmishes) but for what reason is all the stupid animation after Nathaniel death and awakening in tavern´s room ? I never use this option of resuming after my death but every time I use only reload option the same way as summersufer does. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
 
Like I said: I personally wouldn't need this option, because I'm fine with the way it is. However, if someone codes it, I'll put it into the modpack for everybody who does want it. With a toggle on it for everyone who doesn't. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

What I would prefer to see myself is some change so that if you die during boardings, you can also continue.
 
Oh, I think I would be very easy. I have no problem after my dying to start anything again in a different or a better way or even wait for my higher experiences. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
