On my presumably pristine Build 12 install, I added the latest updates as per the published instructions. First off, who's bright idea was it to muck with the controls?! If anyone has a listing of the default mappings, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to have to reprogram my controller to match someone's misguided whim.

Next off; I get CTD's (crash to desktop) if I attempt to reinitialize a previous Build 12 save, or transition from one area to another. And yes, my system is more than capable of handling PotC. I was looking forward to getting back into this game, as "SMP" is getting tediously easy to beat. But PotC is in such a state of disarray that I can scarcely believe it.

Sorry to crash back in as such a hard-@ss, but I'm more than a little surprised and disappointed. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

The problem is that the Build 12 saves don't work with the Post-Build modpack, so you'll have to start a new game, unfortunately... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> About the controls, you have to reset them to defaults in the options menu, I think. I hope I could correctly identify the issues you had problems with and could provide you with an adequate solution. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

We all know there are plenty of bugs and without Nathan around, we're having a seriously hard time fixing them. And there's not much I can do because I'm no great modder at all. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
Hardly anything has been changed in the controls. The only real difference is that move forward/backwards has been reassigned to the W and S keys. Otherwise nothing was changed. But you will need to reset, otherwise it's seriously messed up. But that happens every time you add a new keyboard command to the game, so that explains why the controls get crazy.
