Well, getting back into the saddle of this I think it's pretty appropriate that a big event happened, and today is Black Bart's birthday.
Born May 17th, 1682 Bart was a Welsh pirate who raided ships off America and West Africa between 1719 and 1722. He was the most successful pirate of the Golden Age of Piracy, as measured by vessels captured, taking over 470 prizes in his career.
A capable commander driver by ambition and the desire to remove himself from the poverty that he grew up in made him an aggressive and feared commander whilst not becoming a savage animal like some other who were known more for their cruelty (me looks at l'Olonnais) In saying that, to other members of the establishment he could show a darker side.
