Bartolomeu's quests

What do you mean? It doesn't start? What's your game version? Did you finish the Bartolomeu quest first? Do you the right character level?

well Hello I have a problen whit this quets "First Contact Quest" , I'm in the beach were the fisherman send you , he say something about he so the kraken and the boat , you are searching for elizabeth Sawn , and in the beach is a inglis oficer but I cant talk whit he , I download the atachet file thats bartolomeu put here , but nothing happens , ¿is some kind a regular bug? or I have to do another thing firts for talk whit thats man , sorry for mi inglis

but were I have to paste the file? , I put in diferent`s place jejeje because I dont know were is be
I have instalet 13 Final, Build 14 Alpha 6, Build 14 Alpha 6 Update 2, Build 14 Alpha 7, Build 14 Alpha 7 Missing Files and Build 14 Alpha 7 Plus.

You have to walk to exactly the right spot; then the quest will continue. This is a bit tricky though and I tried (but never finished) to make you "talk" to the corpse instead. Might be easier for play.

Hello again , <span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'> after found the document in the corpse , I travel to Guadalupe , and speak whit the old man in the Naval academy , when you go out a couple of David Jones man talk to you and send you to the Jones boat , you play dices whit he and after thats you are in guadalupe whit Elizabeth Swan , there star the bug , I cant talk whit she even I cant move , nothing happens , I reload a one older game , and now , the two guys out the Naval academy dont talk to mi , ¿ what can I do? </span>

That sounds REALLY weird. It worked last time I checked. Of course I since started my rewrite of the quest, that I <i>still</i> haven't finished.
 
Maybe is somthing I did bad whit the instalation , because don´t work many quets , First Contact Quest, Mateos Santos quets, Admiral song, I dont probe whit other but thits don´t work to mi. have the same problem in a moment of the quets the guy who to talk to mi don´t doit

If you've got 14 A6 upd 2 , I can't help you. In fact, I've never used this version <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
Just a short note to say that in the Jackpot quest, I have replaced the auto-reload to Devil Creek with a properly working manual reload.
Seems better to me. It works in the Jack Sparrow storyline version of the quest, but I made the required adjustments for the other two versions.

I was thinking that finding the shore on the island is a bit too easy though, since you can go straight there with "Sail to".
Would maybe be nice if there was a bit more searching involved for the island.
Also no mention is made after the start of the crewmember who went blabbing about the Spanish silver on the island.

At the moment, changes in side-quest is not my priority seeing I can't do everything at the same time but if Captain Maggee wants to improve it, would be great...
 
I can understand that; it's just something I was wondering about.
Do you have anything to say on modifications or maybe some ideas?
