im pretty sure he thinks it was a failure because of the lameness of it. it is a good game for the first month u play it then it just getting boring getting killed by noobs with m60's... i prefer 1942 anyways always like WWII more then Veitnam

Arg Fred Bob. Why be it a failure? Well.....There is so much more thee could have done to make this game better. The AI is incredably stupid. The choppers, while you think would make `multi-player` more fun, makes it even worse. Now all you got is "noobs" sitting at base waiting for choppers. Then they get shot, and the base gets taken anyway. The Vietmanise are at a horrible disadvantage. In 1942, the Japs, Germans, British, Russians, and USA were all even. Now in this one, the USA team, gets a huge advantage. There better weapons, there better vehicles, the fact everyone on the internet jumps to the US team as soon as they enter the room. The M60 was way to accurate, every American just carried one of them, and mowed there way through the Vietcong. Thank God they released a patch for that.

I don't know, I had higher expectations for the game. IMHO, I think BF1942 is still a better game.

Dat WWII mod fer BFV be soundin' really cool, especially after a visitin' de EA site on it, but de stores still be sellin' BFV fer de full $30 an' de mod only has 3 maps! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

i beg to differ on teh usa advantage. i owned all with my type 56. i hope people use that now cuz i pushed so hard for everyone to use it seeing as it owns the shit outa any other gun in the game, i got hella ppl to use it before i quit. if i was playing and was on the nvc side we would win... unless of cousre we had total dicks on our team.... bottom line is NVC OWNS ALL!!!
but yes the m60 thing was total bs, and the patch did fix it a little, but all in all 1942 is just a much better game in general, and its also got awesome mods.
