Not a Bug Brave Black Flag: Nevis Blacksmith doesn't trade items

I started a new storyline with Beta 3.4 Release Candidate. Played an hour and a half on BBF, and i found two possible bugs:

• The blacksmith of Nevis (pirate) doesn't trade with items; no option for that in the dialog (Is this normal?)
• The book "Don't shoot the messenger" Doesn't unlock professional cannoneer.

You mean he doesn't sell items at all? That's odd, since his code file is a near-carbon-copy of the others.
Will double-check.

@Levis moved some code around related to that a few days back. Perhaps that didn't work right yet?

The BBF nevis blacksmith had an other dialog file right? We had the problem with the fetchquest also, it was made a gunsmith, could this be the reason?

Could be. Can't remember if Gunsmith_dialog.c contains the itemtrade option.

Indeed Gunsmith_dialog.c does not have the item trade option, so this is Not a Bug.
If it bothers people, we could add that feature though.
