Hi All,

Harvey here from <b>Buccaneer - The pursuit of infamy.</b>

Well, I just thought I'd drop in and let you guys know we're almost there, 2 1/2 years in the making and we're almost done. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

We'll be updating our website over the next couple of days, but I'm mainly dropping in to let you know we're now drumming up a bit of interest for some Beta testers. We've provisionally booked a week starting from Friday 19th September. It'll be a series of multiplayer sessions etc. and should be a right laugh ..... we hope....

So, if anyone's interested, you're more than welcome to get yer hands dirty in one of our multiplayer vessels....

This is a game I've been planning on trying.

I am interested in the single player beta test if available, but will try out the multiplayer vessel if that is only what's available ATM.

How shall we notify you of our intent?

Yes, it's just the multiplayer we're testing at the moment...

I'll update this thread tomorrow with full details of how to register, and get involved, but basically you'll need to :

1. Register on our forum so you have an account to use in the closed Beta forum...
2. Send us a few system details, location etc. etc.

Then we can start to organise our first closed Beta <b>AT LAST !!!</b>

I'll get back in touch tomorrow with full details and a link to the Beta sign up area on our website.

Can't wait.....

Right guys, all the info. you need to get involved in the test is now up on our site, along with new screenshots etc. so you can see how much we've moved on...

this looks like an impressive game; sorry for my ignorance but is there gonna be a playable demo?

Indeed they did, Fred Bob, the last beta stopped working on the monday after that weekend.

So if I download and report bugs I find, does that make me a beta tester? So does that mean Im a Potc Alpha tester? Nice! Id join in but i have to use the college computers if ever im doing anything so unforuntuly u can count me out. Looks brill tho! Is it only and online game or can it be played normally?

You should sign up - they're accepting anybody regardless of their computer's specs, as they haven't yet determined the system requirements for the game yet. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> You just need a good internet connection.
